Gugulethu Sophia Mbatha, also called Gugu Mbatha-Raw is a well-known British stage and stage actor which gained more attention after she starred in the 'Doctor Who' (a British science-fiction TV show) show that aired on the BBC channel. The Chelsea Handler Show ran for two years. Handler followed this up by doing a show in the Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour, in the United States. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend and HBO have aired her stand-up comedy performances. In 2010 she was selected to host the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. She became only the second woman to ever host VMAs, after Roseanne Bar.
